Update - City beach to reinstate swimming

I came across this as i am searching to see if i should make the trip from Montral or will I waste my time. I went to the beach a dozen times as a child and would like to bring my son to enjoy what we thought was an ocean as a six year old. For the marketing analyst out there, my wife would have gone shopping as well.

We all know this beach up here and all have memories. If this keeps up any longer it is very likely our kids will outgrow this close getaway.I hope i get the answer i am looking for, because i will not drive down and take a chance hoping I could swim. Swimming and beach go together. Try telling a young child he can not go in the water. no one will roast at 90 degrees without cooling off. I would rather be at a water park which we have north of the border.
i hope the mayor wakes up and creates ammenities adjacent to the beach to sustain it and make it profitable. Quebecers will go and you may even attract Ontarians.
