		<description>Anecdotally, most of my friends in Quebec feel that their earnings are barely keeping up with rising costs.  Also, many do not feel that they are getting their worth from the taxes they pay.</description>

Actually, that&#039;s not true.  Canadians are paid in Canadian dollars, not American ones.  Their salaries remain the same in $CAN, wheter the $US goes up or down. Therefore local goods are no more expensive than before, and US goods are less expensive than before.  So the end result is LESS inflation in Canada and Europe, not more.</description>
