Substitute a sidewalk for that rock and you’ll have what I’ve been seeing around Plattsburgh for a few days. Of course, autumn doesn’t officially start until tomorrow — as if nature pays attention to man-made measurements and units.

FINALLY. It’s been a long summer.
We spent a week in the Central ADK last week, and the colors were just beginning to reach their peak. OH SO glorious. I’m desperate to return!
