What “authenticity”?
Other then the legitimate stuff about hunting & fishing (except for the videos of elk, Grizzlies & Southern fish etc), this just represents the backward stereotype mentality that had done nothing to better or benefit the Adirondacks.

I liked the pickup. Looks like alot of trucks I see in central NY. But it should have had a couple of hunting dogs in the back just looking like they will fall out.

I’m pretty sure this vid was made as a parody.
The North Country is what it is. I live it, and most people who visit are exposed to it – in spite of what brochures might say.
I cast no value-judgement. Personally, when I travel, I seek the authentic and not what is often the unrealistic picture painted by marketing people.
