I tend to be a bit secretive about the really awesome places around these parts. There’s a very cool place with some of the best cross-country skiing in Clinton County I’d like to share. It’s open to the public, free and “wild”, and just received some kick-ass snow.
The New Land Trust
FULL MOON BONFIRE – Saturday December 13th
Starting at 7PM at 236 Plumadore Rd – Saranac NY.
There will be holiday cookies, cocoa and tea.
Bring anything else you want.
Daylight Guided Tours of the trails
11am and 1PM
I’ll be heading up for an early session, bring your ski and snowshoes for some fresh tracks! Check out the trails:

As soon as I heard this, my thoughts were, “There has got to me more than one person involved.”
Plus, this crime takes place in a context that bears examining.
