Amanda notifies me that the Alice T. Miner Museum has a new website. This Colonial Revival House Museum is the former home of Alice and her husband William H. Miner. Established in 1924, the 15-room stone mansion now features Alice’s extensive art collection, decorations, and furniture.
If your in the area, it’s worth a quick visit.

Open Tuesday – Saturday
10am – 4pm
Visitation is by Guided Tour Only
Tours begin at 10:00, 11:30, 1:00, and 2:30

As gruesome as the list may be, there are lessons to be learned from each incident. I’m guessing there were some fairly significant mining incidents. War doesn’t count, as that is not technically accidental.
