Join the Adirondack Museum for the annual Fall Festival on Saturday, September 29, 2012. The festival will include fantastic fall fun for every member of the family with pumpkin painting, wagon and pony rides, apple cider pressing, arts and crafts, music and much more.

Visitors of all ages can climb aboard a rustic wagon, take a seat on a hay bale, and enjoy a leisurely ride around the museum’s grounds. Young children can enjoy a pony ride on center campus with Circle B Ranch. A 4-season ranch located in Chestertown, N.Y., Circle B Ranch is open year round. Join award-winning singer/songwriter Erica Wheeler for camp songs throughout the day. Ms. Wheeler will offer a journey through songs that were written by people who have worked and played in the Adirondacks. From campfire sing-a-longs, to railroad and logging songs, Wheeler will combine her own songs and stories with traditional ones from the area. Erica’s programs have a way of helping people appreciate their “sense of place” more deeply and see familiar places through fresh new eyes. Sets will take place at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.

Activities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fall Festival include: pumpkin painting (while supplies last), apple cider pressing and cider samples (also while supplies last), and fantastic fall crafts.
