I’m all about 2.0, even though it feels pretty lonely here in North Country 0.9. I’ve been accused of being ahead of my time, sort of like Van Gogh. Thanks for the “compliment”. Thanks Steve for the great link to this excellent PR 2.0 document. Link (via Micro Persuasion)

Adirondack Birding Mashup gets a Nod

July 25th, 2006 · No Comments · Destination Marketing

Google Maps Mania, my favorite site for tracking the latest mashups, mentions the Adirondack Regional Tourism Council’s latest website feature. The ADK Birding Guide features birdwatching locations throughout the 8 counties which make up the Adirondack Region. Most of the locations were selected because: 1) a known track-record of birding, 2) unique or protected habitat, 3) unique or protected species. Most are relatively easy to find and best of all, most are also free-of-charge.

Along with the my Birding Lens, all birder’s amateur or expert, should find a wealth of feathered friends to add to your Adirondack vacation experience.
