Spring in the Adirondacks marks the opening of fishing season. I’m not sure what that really entails for people that actually fish since I haven’t baited a hook in decades. Don’t get me wrong, I know entirely too much about Adirondack fishing.
For me, this time of year marks the annual “Fishing Campaign”. I won’t bore you with the details, but I will give you this piece of advice: Bring Your Camera.

A Museum Near Here

Amanda notifies me that the Alice T. Miner Museum has a new website. This Colonial Revival House Museum is the former home of Alice and her husband William H. Miner. Established in 1924, the 15-room stone mansion now features Alice’s extensive art collection, decorations, and furniture.
If your in the area, it’s worth a quick visit.
