Are any other Adirondack Bloggers impressed with WordPress 2.7 2.8 like I am?
Most readers won’t notice a thing, but if you’re on the other end…..Administrative Interface Heaven.
I’m actually thinking of giving ready-to-rock websites for Christmas as a fun and different gift. Super-easy and you can do it too. Or get one for yourself. As they say:
It’s as Easy as…
- Find a Web Host and get great hosting while supporting WordPress at the same time.
- Download & Install WordPress with the famous 5-minute installation.
- Consult the Documentation ask questions, and become a WordPress WordPress fan-expert yourself.
Note: I LOVE 1&1 for hosting and have not had any issues. If you choose 1&1 – you must edit your .htaccess file to enable PHP5, this is super easy and will let you enjoy all the new features.

I was just reading up on wordpress last night. I’m eventually starting a new site for the Adk place, and I’m considering putting the blog on the site. Must read more, LOL. I still don’t understand all this FTP or whatever it is.

I’m a WP disciple so you won’t get any arguments against.
For sure, it can be a bit daunting, but really it is only as complicated as you want it to be.
I’m totally psyched because the new admin had plugin and core upgrade built-in. Just push a button, no more downloading, unzipping, or uploading. Yippee!
I’m such a computer dork.
