Adirondack Brook TroutSpring in the Adirondacks marks the opening of fishing season. I’m not sure what that really entails for people that actually fish since I haven’t baited a hook in decades. Don’t get me wrong, I know entirely too much about Adirondack fishing.

For me, this time of year marks the annual “Fishing Campaign”. I won’t bore you with the details, but I will give you this piece of advice: Bring Your Camera.

The Adirondack Regional Tourism Council (ARTC) has entered into a co-branding partnership with W.L. Gore & Associates (Gore), maker of GORE-TEX® fabrics.

Plattsburgh, N.Y., February 1, 2007 – The Adirondack Regional Tourism Council (ARTC) has entered into a co- branding partnership with W.L. Gore & Associates (Gore), maker of GORE-TEX® fabrics. Gore engineered the original breathable, windproof, and durably waterproof fabric. GORE-TEX® fabrics are used in high-end outdoor apparel, including footwear and accessories.
