List of Grannis Opponents Continues to Grow

Governor Spitzer’s choice for DEC Chief, Alexander “Pete” Grannis, continues to receive scrutiny from North Country and other organizations. And much of that scrutiny has resulted in negative recommendations. Fulton County in the Southern Adirondacks now joins others in opposing the nomination.

Develop the Adirondacks to Stop Crime

If you listen to some “experts”, the burnt lumberjack might not have happened if the Adirondack Club and Resort “lawn care and maintenance jobs” were available. You mean those kids could have been mowing a lawn (4am, March) instead of torching the lumberjack?

Just Horsing Around

Talking with GD a few weeks ago revealed real concern about the fate of Saratoga. His main concern was about the quality of the horseflesh. Sounds to me like horseflesh is hardly worth the bother.
